Libby thrives on the opportunities her career allows. She's taken the stage for classical music including symphonic, ballet and opera; session work on film, radio, and CDs; and backing orchestras for well-known local and international musicians in many genres; including classical, rap, jazz, world, and rock.

Her viola and violin have traveled near and far, including North America, Europe and Asia. She has performed under the batons of Gerard Schwartz with Seattle Symphony and Morton Gould. Performing for the Dali Lama ranks as one of her top experiences. Major influences in her musical life are Maestro George Del Gobbo, Ms. Joni Baczewski, and Ms. Leslie Svilokos.

Not one for a traditional music education, Libby worked her fingers off at Berklee College of Music for a Bachelor's of Art degree in Music Production & Engineering. Her parents are very proud of her accomplishments, although she's not always sure how they feel about her playing so much "loud music".

Libby continues to free-lance, play sessions, ensemble gigs, and performs regularly with Kirkland Civic Orchestra, Federal Way Symphony Orchestra, Everett Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Westminster Chapel Praise Team. Libby holds the Principal Viola chair in KCO (formerly Microsoft Orchestra), and at Westminster.

In the little free time she ekes out, Libby tries to pedal her half of the tandem bike, or SCUBA, in exotic locations around the globe with her partner Matt, who is also a musician. They have 3 furry girls, Bubble & Squeak and Kippers.
